THE DASSONVILLE–MONETTE HOUSE
The house is constructed on the basis of a square layout, with a staircase in its centre which winds around a stylised tree. Positioned between two big oaks, and equidistant from them, the internal tree forms an equilateral triangle with the other two. The staircase starts a progression which goes from the external world to the most private rooms via the lounge. It forms the hinge of the house and, above all, it symbolises an affinity between the structures and the natural forms of the environment.
