The flying manta

It is an airborne manta ray, a sort of helium-filled dirigible with a jointed structure. The upper surface of the wings captures solar energy for powering the motors which make its wings beat. Its movement is as graceful and fluid as its aquatic counterpart. Just like fish in water, it can move in three dimensions weightlessly through the air and far more easily than birds, which must maintain a constant airspeed to stay aloft. Its inflated compartment structure makes this machine very safe. This mode of air transport will replace the heavy, cumbersome planes of today when fossil fuels run out. We will then be able to discover all the pleasures and intense sensations of movement the way nature intended.
